Monster Boy
by Ward Cary Parker

Imagine a young man born with thick hair covering every inch of his body, a rare condition called hypertrichosis.  Now, imagine he also has horns protruding from his head, an extreme case of cutaneous horns.  To make matters worse, he has some frightening dental problems.  How can he possibly lead a normal life?

Darryl, AKA “Monster Boy,” is the ultimate freak and outcast.  No wonder he has quite a temper.  One night, he snaps and kills his abusive carnival owner boss.  Darryl makes an adventure-filled escape to Florida’s Everglades where he hopes to hide in peace.  He’s pursued by the police, his religious fanatic father and a sympathetic woman reporter.  But all along, an evil entity tries to convince him to become a true monster and embark on bloody revenge against those who betrayed him.
