The town
of Eden, Florida, featured in The Guardian of Eden (and briefly mentioned
in Monster Boy), did once exist at the turn of the 20th Century, though
its name has faded from the maps. The former pineapple plantation turned
cottage community set there does exist and Ward once lived there.
